Branding a Bus-stop

First of all branding a bus-stop sounds extremely COOL! first of all like usual we had to do some precedent research on existing bus stop then after that comes the cool part which is we had to make a live model out of it.

just to make things clear, a bus stop happens to be a popular place for advertisers as everyone on earth uses it or if they aren't using the bus stop for waiting purposes their either walking pass it or even just staring at it for eye comfort purposes! This is actually the reason we were assign to design one intriguing bus stop with advertising that works and not only just to make the bus stop look fabulous.

Here's a few examples of what i'm getting my self into :

Look at the way they made the layout of it. i reckon that the poster is made to give an symbole of fatness.

I believe here the designer is trying to emphasize that Toshiba's product makes u feel like you are actually there experiencing it live.

This bus stop looks just way too cool.

love how they use the illusion from the reflecting mirror to reveal the mcdonald sign.. Creative indeed!

ok looking at all these cool examples i can't wait to start the project.

Choosing a Company Name

We were ask to choose a company that we would later use for advertising purposes. after doing a lot of thinking i thought of choosing a brand that known for the biscuits they make. i just felt intrigue to promote/advertise this brand as i haven't really seen London Biscuits Sdn. Bhd. being properly advertised. soooo i started googling here and there to find appropriate information and pictures on the brand which can be useful.

London Biscuits Sdn. Bhd.

Here are some of the products that London Biscuits brings to us :

Information Kiosk

The information Kiosk here is designed really simple. They put all the information including the site map on a one piece rectangular layout. It's very common and a bit cliche and it's definately easy to understand.

INFORMATION COUNTER AND INFORMATION KIOSK

The class was assigned to go out and take photos of an information center. Without any hesitation i brought out my cheap camera to The Curve Mutiara Damansara and started to take the photos. P.s. the workers in the information center were all trying to look natural..lol

What is Environmental design?

Environmental design is often confused with ecodesign, also known as green design, but the two are not the same. I myself actually was a bit baffled when entering the course as I wasn't that clear on what this subject was about at first. But then I started to get the idea and by attending lectures i understood that environmental design is a much broader discipline that actually involves taking the surrounding environment into account when planning a design. Successful environmental design is a synergy between a building, landscape, or even a product and its surroundings, to the benefit of both.

A proper definition of Environment design is that Environmental design is the process of addressing surrounding environmental parameters when devising a plan, programs, policies, buildings, or products. Environmental design can also refer to the applied arts and sciences dealing with creating the human-designed environment. These fields include architecture, geography, urban planning, landscape architecture, and interior design.

Here are a few examples of Environmental Design:

this is the intriguing subject that i got myself into and i hope i will learn alot from it and gain good and useful knowledge and skills that can come in handy oneday.
